The Claw anchor is engineered for optimal bracing behind a wall for easy grab bar installation when no stud is available. It mounts securely to a variety of substrates, including drywall, drywall with tile, and drywall with marble or stone. At least a 3-1/2 in. space behind the wall is required. After installation, The Claw leaves a 2-3/4 in. flat surface with 6 mounting holes exposed where most standard grab bars can be installed.
- Requires 3-1/2 in. space behind surface material
- Can be installed into wallboard between 1/2 to 2-1/2 in. thick
- Brace bar features tape for easy wall placement during installation
- Includes (1) anchor, (1) 3 in. 1/4-20 machine screws, (3) 1/4 in. 10-24 machine screws
- Supports up to 500 lbs.
