Solid Mount
Solid Mount is a unique product/concept for installing grab-bars into pre-existing fiberglass showers/tubs.
Solid Mount is fully adjustable. The installation of the Solid Mount™ takes approximately 1 hour to complete. Tearing open walls to install a grab-bar is a thing of the past with the Solid Mount™. The Solid Mount™ is installed through the face of the fiberglass shower and uses a patented mounting assembly that attaches to the stud, seals the hole and leaves a mounting surface to which a standard grab-bar can be easily and safely attached. This installation meets or exceeds ANSI article 24 and is A.D.A. compliant.
Important Caution:
Grab bars are safety supports only when installed properly and securely. Grab bars must be securely attached to the stud to provide safety in use. Grab bars should be installed as recommended in the Standard for Grab Bars, ASTM F446-85(90) and / or ANSI A117.1 along with your local building and plumbing codes. Grab Bars should be mounted horizontally, approximately 33-36" above the floor, except where a supplemental Grab Bar is installed in relation to a fixture or surface. The manufacturer shall have no responsibility for failures resulting from improper installations.
